Chisinau, 05 September /MOLDPRES/ – The hunting along the state border will be allowed only a thousand metres from the border line to the interior, the Moldsilva Agency’s press service has announced on 04 September 2017.
Contacted by the Agency, Viorica Caciuc, responsible for relations with the press in the institution, reported that this order implies changes in the Regulation on the authorization, organization and practice of hunting in the national forestry fund and was issued at the same time with some amendments to the Border Law of Moldova.
"Hunting in the border area up to one kilometer from the state border to the inside is allowed only in the bright day of the day, based on a notice issued to all persons involved in hunting by the Border Police Sector, including citizens living in the border area of the country. The deadline for examining the request is up to 5 days," said the quoted source.
Also, on the beginning and completion of hunting in border areas, the holder of the notice will inform by phone, verbally or electronically the subdivision of the Border Police, within which the hunting is to be organized. In the event of an incident during hunting, the Border Police subdivision will be immediately informed.
