Chisinau, 7 September /MOLDPRES/- MP Iurie Darda announced yesterday he was leaving the faction of the Liberal Party and would work as unaffiliated in the parliament.
In a message posted on a social network, the lawmaker noted that the decision to leave the faction was taken after “an intense campaign of denigrating image and his family”.
“I do not want through my person these actions reflect upon image of the political party. In this context, I am telling you I withdraw from the faction of the Liberal Party and still will be an independent MP”, he said.
Previously, MPs Artur Gutium and Vladimir Cernat have left the PL faction.
