Moldovan state tax service to check activity of economic agents holding festivity halls

Chisinau, 11 September /MOLDPRES/ – The State Tax Service (SFS) announced that it has initiated monitoring and control actions for economic operators holding ceremonies or restaurants today.
According to SFS’s data, controls are aimed at preventing breaches of law. The inspectors will check on the basis of the following criteria: type of object (festive hall, restaurant, café), the size of commercial units, number of seats, working regime, turnover, tax burden, number of employees and average salary per employee.
According to the source, during September, the SFS will monitor the fiscal activity of 40 economic agents holding wedding rooms or restaurants.
Also, the SFS announced that it has set up tax offices for 10 economic agents in Chisinau, who declared losses or had insignificant profit in relation to the declared total income and the low share of state payments.
The checks will take place throughout Moldova.
