Moldovan deputy PM meets with ambassador of Germany

Chisinau, 12 September /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister, Gheorghe Balan, had a meeting with the Ambassador of the German Federal Republic to Moldova, Julia Monar, today, the office for reintegration policies’ press service has reported.
There were highlighted the recent developments in the negotiation process, main issues on the agenda of the Transnistrian file, positive actions taken by the Moldovan authorities in relation to the inhabitants on the left bank of the Dniester, and prospects of advancing the “5+2” format dialogue during the meeting.
Taking advantage of the occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the German diplomat for consistent efforts made by the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairmanship-in-Office for the Transnistrian conflict settlement, Ambassador Cord Meier-Klodt, during whose term the results were able to stimulate the dialogue between Chisinau and Tiraspol.
Finally, Deputy Prime Minister Gheorghe Balan congratulated Ambassador, Julia Monar, on the occasion of her mandate, wished remarkable successes and expressed his confidence in a future prodigious collaboration to strengthen bilateral cooperation and support the Transnistrian settlement process.
