European integration process depends on way of meeting commitments - Moldovan PM says

Chisinau, 14 September /MOLDPRES/- The implementation of the EU-Moldova Association Agreement and the plans of the Moldovan authorities on European dimension were the main issues discussed at a meeting of the governmental commission on European integration, chaired by Prime Minister Pavel Filip, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The premier remarked that the second half of the year is going to be an intense one and urged the cabinet to mobilize to meet the commitments made under the EU-Moldova Association Agreement and the conditions to get macro-financial assistance.
“We are the ones who chose the European model for development of Moldova. The European integration process is in our hands, the government, and depends on how we mobilize and meet our commitments”, he said.
Foreign and European Integration Minister Andire Galbur referred to the events due to be organized in the coming months on cooperation Moldova-EU, including: meeting of the EU-Moldova Association Committee and Eastern Partnership Summit. Also, Galbur said that the government reform is meant to optimize and not to hinder the country’s participation in meetings of the committees, subcommittees and clusters seen in the Association Agreement and in the Eastern Partnership events planned for this autumn, as well as in the EU programs.
The participants also analyzed the actions taken to implement the commitments made by the Moldovan authorities in aviation and energy sectors.
