Physician from Israel awarded Moldova's Order of Honour

Chisinau, 28 February /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today handed the Order of Honour to Gabriel Gurman, a university professor at the Ben-Gurion University, State of Israel, consultant of the chain of hospitals Inshine Healthcare from China, editor-in-chief of the European Society of Anaesthesiology ESA Newsletter, the presidential press service has reported.
The head of state has earlier awarded this distinction as a token of appreciation of the special merits of Gabriel Gurman for the development and deepening of the international cooperation in the health care sector, for personal contribution to the working out and implementation of national programmes in the sphere of anaesthesiology and reanimatology, as well as for constant support provided to the training and qualification of the specialty medical staff.
Gabriel Gurman was born in Soroca in 1939. During years, he has carried out numerous projects in Moldova, involved Moldovan physicians in international projects in the field of anaesthesia and intensive therapy and held numerous scientific conferences for students, resident physicians and students training for doctor’s degree from Moldova.
Igor Dodon thanked Gabriel Gurman for the activity he was carrying out and wished him success in continuation.
