Moldovan PM attends meeting of top officials

Chisinau, 2 March /MOLDPRES/- Today Prime Minister Ion Chicu attended a joint meeting with President Igor Dodon and Speaker Zinaida Greceanîi, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

The officials approached issues on the agenda of government and parliament, spread of coronavirus and readiness of institutions responsible for managing the situation. They discussed developments in Moldova-IMF relations.

The prime minister spoke about the Transnistrian conflict. Today we mark the 28th anniversary of the military actions on the Dniester, which have resulted in the loss of 299 lives, thousands of wounded and tens of thousands of refugees.

He said that overcoming social and economic problems requires national unity and social-political stability.
