Budget revenues increased by 1.2 billion lei in first two months of 2020

Chisinau, 4 March /MOLDPRES/- In the first two months of this year, budget revenues increased by 1.2 billion lei, higher than last year. Prime Minister Ion Chicu made the statement in this respect.

According to the official, in January-February, the state budget registered increase in revenues of 741 million lei, up by 18.5% than the same period last year.

Revenues to the state social insurance budget increased by 301 million lei or up by 15% than in January-February 2019, and the compulsory health insurance fund also recorded an increase of about 80 million in revenues.

According to data presented by the prime minister, the local budgets also registered increases in revenues. In January-February, revenues to local budgets increased by 88 million lei or up by 17.2% against the same period last year.
