Moldovan parliament speaker to participate in celebration of centenary of Turkey's Great National Assembly

Chisinau, 4 March /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii today had a meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkey to Moldova Gürol Sökmensüer, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

Zinaida Greceanii thanked the ambassador of Turkey for the constant support provided by his country to Moldova, as well as for the excellent cooperation between the two countries. The speaker stressed the importance paid to the strategic partnership with Turkey and Chisinau’s openness for its development. “Our interest is to have good, correct relations and lead a balanced policy,” Zinaida Greceanii said.

The parliament speaker thanked for the invitation to participate in the festivities organized on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of Turkey’s Great National Assembly, noting that she would be honored to accept the invitation.
