Moldovan veterans to benefit from enhanced facilities

Chisinau, 4 March /MOLDPRES/ - The war veterans will be included in the category of people insured by the government and their monthly allocation will be doubled. The cabinet approved a draft law to this effect today.
The document contains additional measures of social protection of the war veterans and the family members of those who died on battlefields, of the people with disabilities in the wake of the war, who died and the family members of the participants in the Chernobyl accident relief works.
The draft sees also the increase in the quantum of the state monthly allocation from 250 to 500 lei for the veterans and their family members.
The amendments will enter into force as of 1 July 2020.
