Chisinau urban plan likely to be worked out by Romanian specialists

Chisinau, 5 March /MOLDPRES/- Research Center for Sustainable Development in Bucharest, Romania, is willing to work out and update for free a general urban plan of Chisinau municipality.

Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban pointed out he had last discussion with representatives of the Romanian association, and that Moldovan specialists will be included in the working group due to be set up.

"Estimated value of the donation is 500 thousand euros, the equivalent of about 10 million lei. I had one last discussion with the representative of the Association. Specialists from the Republic of Moldova, as well as from other countries will be included in the working group that will be formed, "said Ceban.

Also, he said he would present a draft decision on the donation by Romanian side and will ask for its approval.

The Romanian Association has conducted zoning plans of districts 1, 4 and 6 in the municipality of Bucharest.
