Ten days of professions held in south Moldova city

Chisinau, 6 March /MOLDPRES/ - „Meseria - brăţară de aur” (The Profession – Golden Bracelet) is the title of ten days of professions, traditional held in the southern Cahul city in early March. The event is organized by the Vocational School No 1 from this settlement.     

About 300 pupils of the institution actively got involved in the initiation and organization of this event. Young people promoted professions chosen at a fair staged at the headquarters of the school. At the same time, each visitor was able to buy products made by pupils, displayed at the fair (clothes, dishes, workmanship goods, etc.)  

Also, during the ten days, an exhibition of professions of the following was held: controller of food products; operator for technical support of computers, operator of introduction, validation and processing of data, etc.

“The ten days of professions traditionally takes place on this period each year. The event implies activities of practical and theoretical evaluation, which includes a fair of professions, where pupils prove their practical skills. Pupils who finished the gymnasium cycle from villages of the Cahul district were invited to the ten days, for professional guidance and promotion of the institution,” the headmaster of the Vocational School No 1 from Cahul, Oleg Miron, has told the website www.ziuadeazi.md.   

Almost 70 secondary vocational schools work in Moldova. This is a component part of the national education system, aimed at training and developing professional abilities, competences and aptitudes specific for the training of staff of qualified workers for the branches of Moldova’s national economy.
