Head of European Union Delegation in Moldova to observe new parliamentary elections in Hancesti

Chisinau, 6 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today approved the accreditation of more observers for the new parliamentary polls due in Hancesti.
Three national and four international observers were accredited on behalf of the European Union Delegation in Moldova, among whom Head of the EU Delegation in Chisinau, Ambassador Peter Michalko.
Also, at a request by the Republican Institute from the United States, four national and one international observer were approved.
The participants in the meeting approved progress reports on the incomes and expenses of the electoral contenders in the electoral campaign for the new parliamentary polls, for 14, 21 and 28 February 2020.
New parliamentary elections will take place in the uninominal electoral district No 38, Hancesti municipality, on 15 March.
