Moldovan speaker congratulated women of National Army on 8 March

Chisinau, 8 March /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Zinaida Greceanii today attended an event dedicated to the International Women's Day at the Defence Ministry, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.

The speaker congratulated the women with military functions and civilian employees in the National Army and handed Parliament distinctions to several ladies working in national defense. The awards were given as a token of high appreciation for the significant contribution in promoting the values, interests and image of Moldova, strengthening the National Army, high professionalism, exemplary discipline, faith and devotion in the military field, as well as on International Women's Day.

On behalf of the parliament, Greceanii thanked them for serving the country with dignity and manage to harmoniously combine family responsibilities with service obligations.

Minister of Defense Victor Gaiciuc thanked the speaker for honoring the presence of the institution and appreciated this fact as evidence of the attention that the Ministry of Defense enjoys from the state authorities.
