Chisinau city hall boosts measures to prevent new type Coronavirus infection

Chisinau, 9 March /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau Mayor Ion Ceban today convened an extraordinary meeting with heads of the municipal public health and medical institutions, heads of the Directorate-General for Social Assistance and Health and Directorate-General for Education, Youth and Sport to boost measures to prevent new-type Coronavirus infection.

Ceban announced that in connection with the declaration of the orange code of danger of infection with COVID-19, the heads of the municipal hospitals reported on preparing and equipping special isolated spaces. He asked each medical institution to develop and implement the procedures and individual measures to protect the medical staff.

During the meeting, it was decided a continuous communication between health care institutions and educational institutions to monitor the health of children.

At the same time, Ceban ordered ban on travel organization, trips of pupils, students or employees of educational institutions outside Moldova.
