Chisinau city hall in permanent alert on risk of infection with coronavirus

Chisinau, 10 March /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau Mayor Ion Ceban asked heads of municipal departments and employees of municipal structures to show maximum responsibility in the danger of infection with coronavirus.

During the operative meeting of the city hall on Tuesday, the mayor asked the hospitals in the municipality to announce the quarantine regime for visitors, and for the educational institutions to postpone the organization of trips abroad and cultural events.

The mayor made a public appeal to representatives of the private and non-governmental environment, asking for regular disinfection of offices, areas and objects, to inform employees, people who cough or fever to stay at home, have masks, to encourage regular hand washing, to postpone travel if possible.

On 8 March, the Moldovan government announced an orange coronavirus code.
