Chisinau city hall suspends audience with citizens till 1 April 2020

Chisinau, 11 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, has informed that, in the context of the declaring of the orange code of alert as to the spread of the new-type coronavirus, he had cancelled and postponed more events and meetings, as well as audience with citizens.  

In a posting on social networks, Ion Ceban said that, according to the national extraordinary public health commission,  the organization and holding of mass manifestiations, meetings, with the participation of a number of more 50 people, was banned till 1 April 2020, with the subsequent revision of this term, depending on the epidemiological situation.  

„On this period, I ruled the cancellation and adjourning of more events and meetings, as well as audience with citizens. If necessary or in emergency cases, call the phone numbers: 022 20 17 21 or 022 22 63 78. I specify that both the apparatus of the city hall and the heads of departments, as well as the employees continue working as normal. They continue to work on projects and action plans underway,’’ Ceban wrote.     

Ion Ceban urged the Moldovan capital’s residents to keep calm and act responsibly, in order to avoid the risk situations.
