Chisinau, 11 March /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s parliament establishes a regime of individual mobilization and responsibility of MPs and employees, in connection with the evolution of the epidemiological situation of the COVID-19 infection, the parliament’s communication and public relations general department has reported.
Under the decision by the parliament’s Standing Bureau, the public activities at the headquarters of the parliament, as well as the business trips are suspended.
At the same time, the plenary meetings, as well as the meetings of the standing commissions will be held as normal. The people outside the institution will be invited only after the approval of the commissions’ heads and under their personal responsibility. To ensure the transparency of the parliament’s work, mass media representatives will have access to the parliament’s press room.
The Standing Bureau approved these measures, additionally to the enhanced measures of hygienization, disinfection and testing with thermo-scanners, established earlier this week.
The Standing Bureau’s members also recommended that other public and private institutions follow the example of the parliament and undertake needed measures, in order not to allow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
