Chisinau, 12 March /MOLDPRES/- The decision on indexation on 1 April of social insurance benefits and some state social benefits will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 13 March. Under the document, on 1 April, 4.83% of the pensions established under the Law on public pension system will be indexed, resulting from the average annual increase in consumer price indices for the last three years.

Thus, from 1 April the average retirement pension will increase by 90.69 lei for 523,422 beneficiaries, as a result of indexing by 4.83%. Disability pensions will increase by 69.25 lei for 122,676 beneficiaries, and survivors' pensions will increase by 63.36 lei for 11,269 persons.

Also, from 1 April the average pension of the participants in the liquidation of the consequences of Chernobyl catastrophe will increase by 181.87 lei for 1,691 beneficiaries.

The difference between the amount of the minimum pension and calculated pension will be paid from the state budget.
