Sixteen percent of electors vote at ballot in Hancesti uninominal district of Moldova till 14:00

Chisinau, 15 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has informed that, till 14:00, about 9,800 electors or 16 per cent of all those registered in the lists, had voted at the new parliamentary polls in the uninominal electoral district No 38 Hancesti.
At a news conference on the holding of the ballot in Hancesti, CEC head Dorin Cimil, said the elections were carried out without incidents. ‘’The highest voter turnout is recorded in the settlement Satata-Mereseni, where more than 25 per cent of the voters registered in the lists gave their suffrages; the lowest voter turnout is registered in the Lapusna village, where only 10 per cent of the electors voted,’’ the official noted.
The head of the Central Electoral Commission said that 228 electors had come to vote in the Balceana settlement, where one case of infection with COVID-19 was recorded.
Data unveiled by the Central Electoral Commission shows that no other cases of infection with COVID-19 were registered in the uninominal electoral district No 38 Hancesti on 14-15 March.
