Chisinau, 15 March /MOLDPRES/ - All employees of the Chisinau-based education institutions will work at home starting from 16 March.
The general department for education, youth and sport (DGETS) from the Chisinau municipality issued a circular letter, thereby informing the directors of the general education institutions (pre-school, primary, secondary and extra-school) about the need to establish, by internal order, the working place of employees at home.
According to the note published on social networks, the teachers and auxiliary teaching staff are to daily monitor the health condition among children/pupils by phone or other technical communication means. The results of the monitoring will be recorded in a register of record of the group/class, elaborated individually by the teacher, and will be submitted to the leadership of the education institution.
The institutions’ headmasters will daily report to DGETS (employers) the dynamic of the epidemiological situation among children/pupils from education institutions.
Teachers are encouraged to propose to pupils the efficient use of time through diverse activities of consolidation, deepening and developing the competences specific at the schools disciplines.
The measure taken by the general department for education, youth and sport from the Chisinau municipality is part of the actions for preventing the infection with COVID-19. The National Extraordinary Public Health Commission on 13 March established Red Code nationally, in connection with the epidemiological situation through the infection with COVID-19.
