Almost 4,200 dwellings bought through First Home governmental programme in Moldova

Chisinau, 19 March /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 4,181 dwellings have been bought since the launch of the First Home governmental programme so far, of which 33 ones in the last week alone, according to data by the Finance Ministry.
The Finance Ministry said that another six applications were presently accepted from applicants and guarantee contracts were to be signed and 20 applications were analyzed.
Operative data shows that the overall sum of loans provided by banks is of 2,093,648.922.86 lei and the total sum of active guarantees is of 1,046,824,461.43 lei. As many as 2,936 out of all beneficiaries are families and 1,245 are young unmarried persons. The average age of the applicants is of 31 years.
Also, 595 of all beneficiaries enjoy compensations from the state budget within the First Home 2 programme, 1,520 – within the First Home 3 programme and 304 – within the First Home 4 programme.
The average area of the dwellings this programme is of 59.99 square metres, while the average value of the dwellings purchased is of 593.16 thousand lei. As many as 3,917 dwellings of all the number of dwellings bought within the programme are in urban zones and 264 – in rural ones. A number of 3,854 of the dwellings purchased are apartments and 327 – private houses.
Presently, citizens with ages between 18 and 45 years can become beneficiaries of the First Home programme. The applicants should be official employees of state institutions or private companies and should have incomes from official sources. The First Home governmental programme was launched in March 2018.
