Moldova's National Television to broadcast courses for training pupils from 9th, 12th forms for school-leaving exams

Chisinau, 19 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Teleradio-Moldova Company will provide air time for the broadcasting of educational contents, necessary for training  the pupils of the 9th and 12th forms for the national school-leaving examinations, the 2020 session. Education, Culture and Research Minister Igor Sarov and a company’s representative, Rusalina Rusu, reached an agreement to this effect today.     

The sides agreed on the daily broadcasting by the public TV channel of public classes for preparing for the national school-leaving examinations, session 2020 (the 9th and 12th forms), with the possibility of resuming all courses, on Saturday, on the TV Moldova 2 channel.

The minister appreciated the support provided by the Teleradio-Moldova. He noted that ‘’due to these public classes, made by experts and authors of tests, coordinated by the National Agency for Curriculum and Evaluation, with the technical support of the National Centre of Digital Education in Education, Class of Future,  all pupils will be able to benefit from an additional education resource, in order to prepare for the national school-leaving examinations.’’    

The Education, Culture and Research Ministry will continue identifying digital education resources, in order to ensure the access of all pupils to the distance learning.

Moldova’s Commission for Emergency Situations on 18 March ruled that the education process remained suspended at the general, vocational and university education institutions till the end of March.
