Moldovan diplomacy head has phone conversation with European Commissioner for Crisis Management

Chisinau, 24 March /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Oleg Tulea today had a phone conversation with European Commissioner for Crisis Management Janez Lenarčič, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s press service has reported.

The main subject of the discussion was the counteraction of the COVID-19 pandemic. During an exchange of information on actions undertaken in the European Union and in Moldova, Minister Tulea tackled with the EU commissioners the ways through which the mechanisms enforced in EU might be applied in Moldova.

Also, the officials discussed the mechanisms of European assistance in facilitating the repatriation of the Moldovan citizens on the territory of EU, in the context of the crisis.

The sides agreed on keeping close contact for coordinating the actions.
