Director of Moldovan Republican Hospital to be changed

Chisinau, 24 March /MOLDPRES/ - The director of the Republican Hospital, Anatol Ciubotaru, will be replaced. Prime Minister Ion Chicu made statements to this effect following a meeting of the Commission for Emergency Situations today.
According to the PM, the decision was taken, in order to enhance the management capacities of the aforementioned hospital.
The prime minister noted that the Commission today had approved a new string of decisions and restrictions. Thus, in the next weeks, the trolley busses from the Chisinau and Balti cities will move without taxators and the payment for tickets will not be collected.
Starting from today, armoured cars with servicemen are taken out on the Moldovan capital’s streets. The military give a helping hand to policemen to maintain public order and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Moldovan parliament declared state of emergency for the period 17 March – 15 May 2020, in connection with the epidemiological situation through the COVID-19 infection. The decisions on the measures to be undertaken during this time are taken by Moldova’s Commission for Emergency Situations and enter into force at the moment of issuance. The present Commission is made up of ministers, leaders of more state institutions and law-enforcement structures, prosecutor general, etc. and is led by PM Ion Chicu.
In the last week, the Commission members held meetings four times and approved a string of restrictions, in the context of the epidemic of the new coronavirus.
