Socialists propose parties to donate state benefits for fight with COVID-19

Chisinau, 25 March /MOLDPRES/- The Party of Socialists proposed that all political parties which receive state allocations for the election results donate money to the fund on fight with COVID-19. The leader of the PSRM, Zinaida Greceanii, made the statement today.

The PSRM comes with the request to the Commission for Emergencies to consider the possibility to set up a derogation from the law on political parties, so as to allow the allocations for parties to be directed to the Coronavirus Fight Fund, which was created by the Ministry of Finance.

Greceanii also noted that from this money the equipment necessary for the fight with COVID-19 could be purchased. She urged all parliamentary parties to support the initiative.
