New acting director of Republican Hospital

Chisinau, 25 March /MOLDPRES/- Interim director of the Republican Clinical Hospital Timofei Moșneaga will be former Deputy Minister of Health Andrei Uncuța.

Prime Minister Ion Chicu made the statement on his official website, after saying that the members of the Commission for Emergencies have decided to dismiss Anatol Ciubotaru from the position of director of the IMSP Republican Clinical Hospital Timofei Moșneaga on March 24, 2020.

Yesterday, the prime minister said that this decision was taken "to enhance the capabilities of the Republican Clinical Hospital to meet the epidemiological challenges".

According to data of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, 125 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Moldova so far.
