Moldova's First Home governmental programme has more than 4,200 beneficiaries

Chisinau, 26 March /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 4,205 dwellings have been purchased through the First Home governmental programme so far. The overall sum of loans provided by banks to this end stands at 2.1 billion lei and the value of active guarantees is of 1.052 billion lei.
As many as 2,954 out of the 4,205 beneficiaries are families and 1,251 – young unmarried people. The applicants’ average age is of 31.2 years. Also, 606 out of all beneficiaries benefit from compensations from the state budget within the First Home 2 programme, 1,537 - within the First Home 3 programme and 311 – within the First Home 4 programme, sources from the Finance Ministry have said.
The average area of the dwellings bought through the programme is of 60 square metres, while the average value of the dwellings procured is 593.18 thousand lei. As many as 3,941 out of the dwellings purchased are in urban areas and 264 – in rural ones. As any as 3,877of the dwellings bought are apartments and 328 – private houses.
The source said that any citizen of Moldova with ages between 18 and 45 years, who is officially employed at a state institution or private company from Moldova and has incomes from official sources, can be beneficiary of the First Home governmental programme.
