About 440 Moldovans returned home by charter flights in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 26 March /MOLDPRES/- Other 439 Moldovan citizens have returned home in the last 24 hours by charter flights provided by the national authorities. The flights were made from the United Kingdom and France.
According to the Border Police, in the last 24 hours there were 10 vehicles that transported 35 Moldovan citizens, repatriated from the Russian Federation through Ukraine and entering the country through Otaci crossing point. Two charter flights from the United Kingdom and France were recorded at the Chisinau International Airport with 404 Moldovan citizens.
Appeal to countrymen who are abroad and need assistance and information in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, before planning the trip to contact the diplomatic missions or consular office in the state where they are.
At the same time, people entering the Republic of Moldova are warned that they are obliged to fill in the epidemiological data, to quarantine themselves at home for a period of 14 days; not to leave the place of self-isolation.
The people who do not meet the requirements will be fined from 22,500 lei to 25,000 lei or imprisonment up to 7 years.
