Ambassador of Belarus ends diplomatic mission in Moldova

Chisinau, 26 March /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii today had a farewell meeting with Ambassador of Belarus to Moldova Sergey Chichuk, given the end of his diplomatic mission in the country, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.     

Zinaida Greceanii thanked the diplomat for the fruitful cooperation and contribution brought to maintaining the good cooperation and friendship relations between the two countries and peoples, including at the parliamentary level. The speaker congratulated Sergey Chichuk on the awarding of Moldova’s state distinction, Order of Honour.  

The sides discussed challenges triggered by the global pandemic and exchanged information on the measures undertaken by the authorities of Moldova and Belarus for combating the virus. The sides voiced hope in the quick as possible return to the normal regime of work of all institutions and full turning to account of the earlier established cooperation agenda.    

The speaker wished Sergey Chichuk success in his diplomatic career and assured him of the fact that he would always be a dear guest in Moldova.
