Chisinau, 27 March /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Ion Chicu today sent a congratulatory message on World Theater Day, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
The message says:
"Dear artists, screenwriters and directors,
Dear art lovers,
On 27 March we celebrate World Theater Day.
This year we will celebrate it differently - not in theater.
As the Theater has taught us to look at things wider and deeper, to approach them with more inspiration and to connect our imagination, we will be able to imagine we are in the Theater room.
We thank the Theater for helping us to get out of the narrow traps born of daily life and teaches us to look at other horizons.
We thank the Theater for History and Education.
We thank the Theater for inspiration and search.
We thank the Theater for promoting culture and spirit of common sense.
Theater Day is an opportunity to thank the people who have chosen to serve the Theater.
Theatre artists are dedicated researchers of human beings, are aware of talent and vices and probably know best how high a man can rise, or how low he can fall.
We rely on Theater as an inspiration in reconfirming national values.
Dear Theater People,
We wish you health and inspiration, peace and prosperity, full halls and delighted spectators, thousands of flowers and many long minutes of applause.
