Public transport from Moldovan capital to be free of charge till cancellation of state of emergency

Chisinau, 27 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall informs that the municipal public transport will move in special regime and will be free of charge, starting from 28 March till the cancellation of the state of emergency.

At the same time, the city hall announces that it will preserve the restrictions of movement of trolley buses and buses. The work of these transport means will have the following schedule: 5:30-10:00 and 16:00-20:00 on the working days and during 6:00-10:00 and between 16:00-19:30 on days off.

At the same time, the municipal enterprise Electric Transport Administration and the municipal enterprise Urban Park of Buses will provide the staff with protection equipment and the transport means with disinfectant substances.

The Moldovan government adopted state of emergency on 17 March 2020 for 60 days. The measure was taken, in order to prevent and diminish the infection with COVID-19.
