Moldova to purchase 100 thousand COVID-19 testing from China

Chisinau, 30 March /MOLDPRES/- The Republic of Moldova has ordered from China 100 thousand tests to detect the infection with COVID-19 virus. President Igor Dodon made the statement after a working meeting with speaker Zinaida Grecianîi and Prime Minister Ion Chicu.
The president noted that the dynamics of infection in Moldova would be lower than the forecasts of the authorities. He said that the screening center for suspects and patients, due to be organized at Moldexpo centre will facilitate the work of the staff of the Hospital of infectious diseases Toma Ciorbă.
Dodon said that the state will organize daily charter flights for Moldovan citizens who want to return home. Priority for these flights will be mothers with children, sick people and students.
He said that a lot of measures were set out aimed at reducing the damage of the business environment and employees who were left without a job or without wages due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These include the reimbursement of taxes paid by employees, providing income equivalent to the average salary on economy and offering one-off allowance of 16 thousand lei to doctors, policemen, customs workers.
