Meteorologists announce Yellow Code of frost in Moldova

Chisinau, 30 March /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) announced yellow code of frost for the period 31 March – 2 April.

According to meteorologists, at night and in the morning of 31 March, frost between -1 and -3 Celsius degrees is expected on the surface of soil in places in the northern part of Moldova. On 1-2 April, frost with intensity between -1 and -6 degrees is forecast in most regions.

During the day, the air temperature will increase up to 10 Celsius degrees. As usual, higher air temperatures, by 2-3 degrees, will be recorded in the south and colder – in the northern region. No precipitation is expected in most regions, except for some districts from the central and southern Moldova, where short rains are forecast in places on 31 March.

The weather will warm starting from 3 April.
