China provided Moldova with 1,000 tests for COVID-19 detection

Chisinau, 31 March /MOLDPRES/- China's Ambassador to Moldova Zhang Yinghong forwarded to Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Viorica Dumbrăveanu the second batch of 1,000 test kits for COVID-19 detection.

The Chinese official said that China is taking on the responsibility of a good friend of Moldova and is willing to further strengthen cooperation to provide assistance to the extent that it is capable of fighting the epidemic.

"China is now preparing the third aid package for Moldova, which is mainly protective equipment for medical staff to help the country survive the crisis and overcome the epidemic as soon as possible," Zhang Yinghong said.

Dumbrăveanu said that Chisinau authorities sincerely thank China for providing two batches of test kits in a short period of time, urgent need for Moldovan hospitals. "The Chinese government aid will play an important role in Moldova's fight against the epidemic," the minister said.

Previously, China has provided Moldova with 1,500 test kits.
