After all opinions had been set forth, the participants in the meeting found out that there were no hindrances to residents’ supply with the needed foodstuffs, as each network analyzes the dynamic of the transactions for the last months and provides the stocks of goods in the necessary volume.
At the same time, those present at the meeting gave assurances that the trade networks were not intending to increase the prices for goods; this is done, only if there are certain objective economic reasons, such as the increase in prices by the producer, increase of tariffs for transport, exchange rate’s fluctuation, etc.
At the same time, the participants in the meeting noted that the trade networks were implementing the instructions by the National Commission for Emergency Situations as regards the compulsory observance of the norms for preventing the spread of the COVID-19 infection. Thus, measures are undertaken to provide the shops with disinfectants, protection masks, gloves and buyers are guided to observe the social distance of at least metre.
