Moldovan deputy premier has phone conversation with Council of Europe's Commissioner for Human Rights

Chisinau, 31 March /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Cristina Lesnic today had a phone conversation with Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Dunja Mijatović on the observance of human rights in Moldova, including the Transnistrian region and in the Security Zone, in the conditions of the state of emergency triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The EU commissioner showed interest in the situation in Moldova, the measures taken by the government to limit the impact of the epidemic and the evolution in the human rights sector.
Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Cristina Lesnic informed about the limiting of movement imposed by the Transnistrian side, especially for the teachers from the Latin-script schools from the left bank of Dniester and the medical staff working in the settlements of the Security Zone.
