Way of doing business to change after coronavirus pandemic

Chisinau, 1 April /MOLDPRES/- Yesterday Prime Minister Ion Chicu said that following the current suspension of economic activities, the concept of doing business will change - the importance of information technologies and online work and deliveries will increase.

The prime minister said that the Moldovan business sector is aware of the effects of coronavirus pandemic and is trying to model its activity. "Several business people have already understood that the way of doing business has changed and is reorienting activity through the use of information technologies, remote work and online deliveries", he said.

During the state of emergency, 17 March -16 May, in the Republic of Moldova, several commercial units were suspended, except for food stores, pharmacies and fuel stations.

On Monday, a number of economic measures were announced to support commercial units and businesses that were forced to suspend their activities in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.
