Problems of physicians, teachers, illegal installations from Security Zone in focus of OSCE representatives

Chisinau, 1 April /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Cristina Lesnic today had a discussion with Special Representatives of the OSCE Chairmanship-in-Office Thomas Mayr-Harting and Head of the OSCE Mission in Moldova Claus Neukirch, following a letter sent on 30 March, with a request to get involved in ensuring the free access of physicians to all settlements from the Security Zone, in the context of the pandemic of the new coronavirus COVID-19, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The sides discussed the present situation in the Security Zone, especially as regards the movement of physicians, situation of the staff from the Latin-script schools from the left bank of Dniester, as well as the setting of control posts by the Transnistrian side on the Cocieri plateau.
The OSCE representatives informed about the answer of the organization, which shows also the need to consult also the position of the World Health Organization in the measures to limit the pandemic and identify other situations in the shortest period. At the same time, they said that they would hold discussions with Tiraspol on this subject. The sides agreed to continue exchanging information on subjects monitored in working regime.
