Assets of some public institutions of Moldova to be transmitted to Defence Ministry

Chisinau, 1 April /MOLDPRES/ - Assets of the state’s public property worth about one million lei, managed by the public institution, Information Security and Cyber Security Service, are transmitted, for free, for the management of the Defence Ministry. The cabinet of ministers took a decision to this effect today. 

Under the decision, the public institution, Information Security and Cyber Security Service, jointly with the Defence Ministry, will set up a commission for transmission and we will ensure the transmission of the assets in a 30-day term. The process will be in line with the provisions of the regulation on the way public property assets are transmitted.

„The subsequent goal of the concerned request is to implement an infrastructure of local network ascribed to the state secret, in order to ensure an advanced protection level, necessary for the processing and stocking of information. Also, the equipment demanded will be used at the command point of the National Army, to stimulate and carry out military exercises, as well as within the communication and informatics knots, for backing the mobile command points of the mobile units,’’ reads the informative note to this draft cabinet decision.
