The Environment Agency has signed an order to this effect and the authorities will undertake additional measures to ensure the observance of the fishing interdictions.

Thus, on the prohibition period, Border Police patrols will adjust their missions of protecting the fish resources in the natural water ecosystems, placed both at the border and in the border zone. The missions will be carried out by the frequent use of boats, service technology, special means and equipment, by strictly observing, at the same time, the individual protection measures, imposed by the risks triggered by the new coronavirus COVID-19.

"During the prohibition, the fishing and the stay in the water basin or nearby it with fishing tools is banned. If the provisions of this order are infringed, border policemen will act in strict accordance with the legislation in force,’’ according to the Border Police.
