Moldovan deputy premier visits Varnita

Chisinau, 3 April /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Cristina Lesnic visited Varnita on Thursday, partially blocked by Tiraspol authorities, under the pretext of quarantine, after two persons were diagnosed with the new coronavirus COVID-19, the Bureau for Reintegration has reported.
Cristina Lesnic has collected facts on the spot, including Nordic neighborhood, what are the traffic impediments created for the villagers and how the population's access to medicines is ensured.
During discussions with representatives of the local public administration and the Ombudsman’s Office in Varnița, it was found that the pharmacies in the locality were reopened only on 1 April, after the movement of their staff was allowed.
The official also visited family doctors center to verify the access of insured people from both banks of the Dniester to medical services and the situation of the doctors movement in the Security Zone. At the same time, Lesnic checked the prescriptions for the compensated medicines.
