Chisinau, 3 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Education, Culture and Research Ministry has instructed that the heads of the education institutions of all levels, public and private, resume the distance education process starting from 6 April, by observing the provisions of more documents.

Among these documents, there is the Methodology on the organization of the distance education process in conditions of quarantine for the early education institutions; Methodology on the continuing of the distance education process in conditions of quarantine for the primary, gymnasium and lyceum education institutions; Framework regulation on the organization of the vocational education on the period when the access to institutions is restricted; Framework regulations on the organization of teaching activities in online system in the higher education institutions, on the period of suspension of the education process in education rooms.

The pre-school children, pupils and students from Moldova have been in quarantine regime starting from 11 March, given the pandemic of the new-type coronavirus COVID-19. Once the education process suspended, more education institutions and teachers started online teaching courses, with special attention paid to disciplines due to be included in the national examinations.

This week, no distance classes were held, as the teachers had non-working days, just as more categories of public sector employees, in accordance with an instruction by Moldova’s Commission for Emergency Situations, the decisions of which are compulsory and executory on the state of emergency period (17 March – 15 May).
