Four hospitals to operate to fight new coronavirus

Chisinau, 4 April /MOLDPRES/- In Moldova, the number of people infected with COVID-19 reached 591. At the same time, four hospitals will be activated today in the fight with the new coronavirus: three hospitals in Hâncești, Criuleni and Anenii Noi and the State Chancellery's hospital in Chisinau. Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Viorica Dumbrăveanu made the statement today.

Out of the 591 cases, 232 are in Chisinau, Stefan Voda – 83, Soroca – 70, Hancesti -27, Cahul – 24, Ialoveni – 21, Falesti – 11, Sangerei -10, Orhei – 9, Balti - 8, Anenii Noi - 7, Telenesti - 6, Râșcani - 5, Taraclia and Nisporeni - 4, Briceni, Cantemir - 3, Criuleni, Floresti, Strășeni, Cimișlia – 2 cases. In Basarabeasca, Călărași, Dubăsari, Leova, Vulcănești, Drochia, Ocnița, Ungheni and Edineț - 1 case, and Transnistria - 35.

At the same time, today at the Republican Clinical Hospital was registered one death - a man of 79 years.

On 17 March - 15 May, state of emergency is declared throughout the country. Several localities in Ștefan Vodă, Hâncești and Soroca were under quarantine, the exits and entrances are blocked.
