Moldovan foreign affairs ministry hosts meeting on managament of external assistance for combating COVID-19

Chisinau, 6 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) today hosted a meeting with the participation of representatives of the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry on the management of the external assistance for combating COVID-19, the MAEIE public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.

The participants in the meeting discussed the current needs of Moldova and efforts due to be undertaken in continuation to mobilize the necessary support in fighting the new-type coronavirus, assessed the mechanism of managing the situation and agreed on subsequent actions to this end.

In particular, the participants in the event tackled the subject on deficiencies emerging in terms of delivery of urgently needed medication to Moldova, especially in the context of the export and transit restrictions imposed by other states.
