Chisinau, 7 April /MOLDPRES/- About 20 employees from Bender boarding school for orphans have got salaries at an ATM in Varnita. They were transported by a school bus, respecting the anti-epidemiological rules, keeping social distance in transport, equipped with masks and medical gloves, disinfectants, the Bureau for Reintegration has reported.

The bus was accompanied by employees of the Bender Police Inspectorate, and the entire procedure was monitored by Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Cristina Lesnic, OSCE representatives and Ombudsman Office.

The movement between the banks of the Dniester was restricted by the Transnistrian side in the context of the epidemiological situation, creating more problems for residents of the Security Zone and for the staff of Moldovan schools in the Transnistrian region.

The Transnistrian side requires the isolation at home for 14 days of people crossing the administrative line, except for certain categories of citizens agreed between Chisinau and Tiraspol, including farmers who have lands beyond Râbnița-Tiraspol route, penitentiary staff, emergency services and maintenance of electricity and gas networks.

Thus, after declaring the state of emergency, the staff of Moldovan schools on the left bank of the Dniester have difficulties to raise wages. Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Cristina Lesnic intervened to organize transportation of teachers in Varnița.

"It is our moral duty to ensure the access of our citizens to a minimum of services that will enable them to go through this difficult time," Lesnic said.

On Tuesday, the teachers from Moldovan high schools on the left bank of the Dniester will raise wages, following a similar procedure. Subsequently, the way of paying the salaries of teachers from the left bank of the Dniester will be decided according to the evolution of the epidemiological situation and extension of restrictive measures imposed by the Commission for Emergencies.
