Over 4,200 homes purchased under First Home Program

Chisinau, 22 April /MOLDPRES/- Since the launch of the First Home program, 4,259 homes have been purchased so far. Nine other applications are under consideration.

According to the Ministry of Finance, out of the 4,259 beneficiaries, 2,995 are families and 1,264 are unmarried young people. The average age of applicants is 31 years. Also, out of the total number of beneficiaries, 617 persons receive compensations from the state budget within the program First Home 2, 1584 - the program First Home 3 and 318 - the program First Home 4.

The average area of purchased homes is 59.98 square meters. The average value of housing is 593.48 thousand lei. Most homes were purchased in urban areas - 3,993 homes, and in rural areas - 266. 3,930 are apartments and 329 – ground houses.
