Moldovan capital's general development plan to be worked out along with investments fund from Russia

Chisinau, 23 April /MOLDPRES/ The Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, today informed on social networks that the city hall had signed a cooperation agreement with the investment fund of Rosskongress and of the Academy of Real Estate.    

The document signed sees the sides’ interaction in the field of promoting the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in the Chisinau city through attracting investments and extending the international cooperation.  

According to the quoted source, it is about the Russian side’s participation in the elaboration of the general plan for the development of the city and creation of the joint centre for projects management, which, with the assistance of Rosskongress-Investment, is to implement a string of investment and infrastructure projects.

The mayor noted that the Russian side would provide assistance in more sectors: assistance for working out a long-term development strategy for the territories managed by the city hall in the elaboration and adoption of a strategy and plans on comprehensive implementation for the UN Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030; implementation of strategies and measures which regard the development of the municipality’s road transport infrastructure; creation and implementation of an information support system for urban development, based on the use of modern Information Technology and Communications; a unified geo-informing space of the Chisinau city; digital model of territory and buildings; cooperation in the sector of promoting innovation and advanced technological solutions.
