Another 94 people treated by COVID-19

Chisinau, 24 April /MOLDPRES/- The number of patients cured of COVID-19 reached 755, after 94 people have been released on 23 April. Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Viorica Dumbrăveanu made the statement today.

So far, 2,926 cases of infection with the new coronavirus have been registered in Moldova, after processing over 14,000 samples. "Yesterday, 94 people previously tested positive were released. Thus, the number of those treated reached 755 ", said Dumbrăveanu.

The official said that there are 214 patients in serious condition, and 546 of medium severity, the rest being in satisfactory condition.

She noted that the measures due to be taken in the next period to relax the restrictions will be discussed today. Thus, state employees could return to work on 27 April. The next relaxation of restrictions will take place on 15 May and then on 1 June.

On 17 March – 15 May, state of emergency is declared in Moldova. Localities in Ștefan Vodă, Glodeni, Soroca, Edineț were under quarantine regime, the exits and entrances from these locations are blocked.
