Heads of Moldovan business associartions hold meeting at Presidency

Chisinau, 24 April /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon on 23 April summoned a meeting with the heads of the business associations, which represent various branches of the national economy, the presidential press service has reported.

The sides exchanged opinions on the most topical problems, caused by the forced restricting of the economic activity, triggered by the pandemic.

Igor Dodon reiterated that the government and the presidency had announced a string of initiatives aimed at the gradual getting out of the crisis situation. The head of state stressed that everybody should be aware of the fact that it was impossible to extend forever the action of the emergency state, which expires on 15 May.

The Moldovan president also said that the concerned decisions could be taken at a today meeting between the head of state and the PM. At the same time, Igor Dodon specified that the Moldovan top leadership was willing to continue the dialogue with representatives of each sector during the next two weeks.
